I have been in childcare for 12 years now, and an Admin for 4 years now. When I started in the field, I was attending college and taking a few classes in education. I have always wanted to take the time to obtain my CDA but it was never the right moment and center for me to do so. I felt that it was something I wanted to have for myself.
I learned a lot about dealing with behaviors in different ways. There’s a lot of things I knew already from being in the field for so long, but somethings were a refresher and/ or new. But I am not in a classroom full time, but I am supporting the teachers on behaviors and classroom management etc. I’m a great resource for the teachers to have in their time of need.
