Founded in 1968, Park Maitland School is a private school that values academic excellence and love and respect for each child. The school served students in Preschool through 6th grade until 2022, when 7th grade was added, and today classes through 8th grade are offered. We focus on providing children with a small school setting that places a strong emphasis on character development, academic achievement, enrichment, social-emotional development, and traditions that make students deeply remember their childhood educational experience.

What Makes Us Unique

• We utilize departmentalized learning where students learn from passionate content experts, and typically teach a grade level above.
• Nearly all of our instructional staff are highly qualified teachers, with the average teacher at Park Maitland School having over 20 years of teaching experience.
• All of our classes contain project-based learning and ensure students' learning covers all national standards while delving into in-depth projects. 
• Park Maitland embodies and celebrates differences and understanding. We make manners, kindness, and respect a primary focus each day, and this is what the school was founded under. The school places a focus on multiple learning styles and revolves its lessons and multiple traditions around diversity and inclusion.
• Each year we hold traditional events that have been at the heart of Park Maitland for generations, including the Festival of Nations, Across Generations, India Fest, Greek Fest, live productions at each grade level, feeding children everywhere, and many more. We are committed to developing empathy, equity, and the importance of diversity in all aspects of the school.
