About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and security of our school community. The Security Officer will monitor campus activity, enforce school policies, and respond promptly to any safety concerns.
Responsibilities:
• Patrol and monitor the school premises to ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Enforce school safety protocols and report any violations.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency personnel if needed.
• Assist in managing the flow of traffic during drop-off and pick-up times.
• Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing the campus.
• Maintain accurate and timely incident reports.
• Collaborate with school administration to address security concerns and recommend improvements.
What We Are Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to pass both state and federal background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including mornings or afternoons as needed
