Hourly Rate: $21-$24 per hour | Based on education and experience
*Sign On Bonus: $2,500 for fully qualified teachers
Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Toddler Teacher to lead the classroom at our premier preschool in Elk Grove, CA. What You’ll Do:
As a Preschool Teacher with Merryhill Preschool, you’ll be responsible for:
• Overseeing daily classroom operations and ensuring full compliance with state licensing regulations
• Designing and implementing thoughtful and intentional lessons in a classroom setting that encourage student growth and development.
• Building meaningful relationships with families and creating a welcoming school culture
• Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
• 12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education OR an awarded CDA in the assigned age group.
◦ Infant and toddler teachers will be required to have 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units completed.
• A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to often carry and lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds.

*This position is eligible for a signing bonus total $2,500, paid in installments as follows: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days of employment, and $1,000 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings.
