About the Role
As a Physical Education Teacher and Sports Director at Merryhill School, you will have the opportunity to work with our motivated students to continue to build upon the knowledge foundation laid in the elementary years and delve deeper into the subject of physical education. Our elementary school program encourages students to think critically, ask questions, learn from mistakes, and discover their individual passions for the future. We look for teachers who are confident and caring leaders in the classroom, able to guide our students through the curriculum with high expectations and a fun learning environment.
You will also
• Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of PE curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
