We are seeking a Middle School PE Teacher & Athletic Director who is passionate about education, athletics, and building community.
Position Overview:
• Teaching Responsibilities: Teach three periods of Physical Education daily to middle school students in grades 6, 7, and 8.
• Athletic Director Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and coach our boys’ and girls’ CYO volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams. This includes coordinating schedules, managing equipment, supporting student-athletes, and working closely with families. Attendance at CYO functions and games is expected.
• Experience with CYO athletics programs is a plus.

• Use intentional instructional methods and pacing to meet lesson objectives.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet students’ needs and ensure mastery of content.
• Create motivational, respectful, and structured classroom environments.
• Set and uphold high expectations for student behavior and routines.
• Challenge students with rigorous, critical thinking tasks and provide appropriate support.
• Encourage collaboration and communication through the use of digital and other resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to positively impact student outcomes.
• Actively engage students, families, and the community to support academic and athletic success.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited or approved college or university required.
• Teaching experience and prior involvement with CYO or similar athletic programs preferred.
Rate of Pay: $70,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience and education
