About the Role
As a Multi-Campus Teacher, you will support our Santa Clara campuses in preschool and elementary at McKinley and Winchester campuses. This role provides day-to-day instructional support across multiple Preschool up to Second Grade classrooms.
Each day may look a little different, whether assisting with classroom supervision, supporting instruction, or stepping in as a lead teacher when needed, your flexibility and enthusiasm will play a big role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
This Multi-Campus Floater Teacher position is designed as a developmental role, intended to prepare candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position. It is expected that individuals in this position will actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available. The placement could be in preschool or lower elementary grades.
Hourly Pay Range: $59,000-$63,000
Status: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
What You'll Do
• Provide classroom coverage in Preschool to Grade 2 as needed at two campuses
• Work until 6pm if coverage is needed for preschool
• Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments
• Supervise and engage children to ensure their safety and well-being
• Support daily classroom routines, including nap and snack times
• Assist with toileting and diaper changing as needed in early preschool classrooms
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, and families
• Assist with administrative or campus-wide support tasks as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned
What You Bring:
• 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in:
◦ Child Growth and Development
◦ Child, Family, and Community
◦ Program/Curriculum
OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development
◦ OR 12 ECE units and a Bachelors Degree in any field
• Prior experience in a preschool setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, dependable, and flexible
• Passion for working with young children
