Stratford School, part of Spring Education Group, is a leading independent WASC-accredited private school in California offering courses from preschool through 12th grade with a vision of creating a unique, multi-dimensional educational foundation for children. At Stratford School, we understand every child has his or her own interests and passions and contributes in their own way. Our proven program includes our STEAM-based curriculum that was recognized by the White House as a leader in early childhood STEAM education, and we are also the first California school to earn the Carnegie Science Seal of Excellence for STEM.
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic and growing middle school community. As a Spanish teacher, you will foster language proficiency, cultural awareness, and global citizenship while helping students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. Your lessons will be engaging, interactive, and student-centered, encouraging students to communicate authentically and appreciate the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.
We value educators who create immersive and meaningful language-learning experiences that build both fluency and confidence. You will design lessons that encourage active communication, cultural exploration, and real-world application of language skills. Through engaging instruction, collaboration, and differentiated support, you will help students develop a strong foundation in Spanish while fostering curiosity about other cultures and perspectives.
In your classroom, students will be encouraged to take risks, communicate purposefully, and develop the skills necessary to become confident global learners. As a role model, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for language learning, cultural appreciation, and lifelong learning, inspiring students to engage deeply with the Spanish language and the broader world around them.
Beyond the classroom, our teachers play an integral role in the school community by providing extra support to students, offering guidance, and building meaningful relationships. We seek educators who bring energy, creativity, and a passion for language and culture, creating a dynamic learning environment where students are eager to learn and grow.
If you are passionate about world language education and excited to inspire the next generation of global citizens, we would love to hear from you!
