About the Role
Laurel Springs School is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and creative Marketing Support Specialist to join our team. This entry-level marketing role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across social media, content development, and marketing operations. You will support a collaborative marketing team through a mix of project coordination, content support, research, and administrative tasks while developing your skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days per week based out of our Spring Education Group office in West Chester, PA.
Key Responsibilities
• Support marketing initiatives across social media, content, and digital campaigns
• Assist with social media auditing, content ideation, and template creation
• Engage with audiences via comments and direct messages in alignment with brand voice
• Research content topics, trends, and competitor strategies
• Help maintain brand consistency across marketing materials
• Assist in developing content for blogs, virtual events, and campaigns
• Support the Marketing Project Manager with ordering, organizing, and distributing marketing materials
• Maintain and organize digital assets, directories, and marketing documentation
• Monitor shared inboxes and marketing platforms
• Pull reports, manage seed lists, and support marketing data tracking
• Research marketing trends, tools, and emerging platforms
• Assist in testing new tools and supporting reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in meetings and events (including occasional evening virtual events)
• Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
• Entry-level experience or internships in marketing or social media preferred
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategy
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Experience with social media platforms and tools
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) preferred
