Stratford Preparatory High School Blackford (SPB), located at 3800 Blackford Ave, San Jose, CA, is looking for a High School Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year. As a Spanish teacher at SPB, you are passionate about helping students develop both language proficiency and cultural understanding. Through engaging, student-centered instruction, you will create a classroom environment where students are challenged to communicate confidently, think globally, and appreciate the richness of the Spanish-speaking world. Dedicated to building meaningful relationships with students, you strive to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and prepare learners to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. The ideal candidate has three to five years of teaching experience at the high school level or beyond.

About the Role
As a High School Spanish Teacher at SPB, you will implement a comprehensive curriculum to include teaching students reading, writing, grammar, and speaking Spanish. You will also:
• Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in high school or upper middle school grades
• Knowledge of Spanish language arts curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
