About the Role:
Merryhill School is seeking a full-time, temporary Substitute Teacher to provide consistent classroom coverage across multiple grade levels. This role will primarily support 2nd grade instruction, with additional coverage for upper elementary Spanish (grades 4–8) as needed.

This position begins immediately and runs through June 5, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, and confident stepping into different classroom environments while maintaining continuity of instruction and a positive student experience.

You will also:
• Support instruction by following lesson plans and facilitating classroom activities
• Provide coverage across assigned classrooms, including 2nd grade and upper elementary Spanish as needed
• Promote positive social and emotional development in students
• Maintain a structured, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Build strong, professional relationships with students, faculty, and staff

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude
