About the Role
As a Campus Support team member at Southern Highlands Preparatory School, you will help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing school environment for students throughout the day. This role supports classroom learning, student supervision, daily routines, and campus operations while working closely with teachers, school leadership, and staff.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, patient, flexible, and committed to creating a positive experience for students. You will provide support where needed across the campus, helping ensure students are supervised, classrooms and shared spaces remain orderly, and daily school activities run smoothly.

You will also:
• Support the school learning environment by assisting teachers, students, and campus leadership throughout the day.
• Supervise students to ensure safety during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other school routines.
• Assist with age-appropriate daily activities that support student engagement, independence, and positive behavior.
• Help establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and respectful environment for students.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and daily preparation of learning materials and supplies.
• Keep classrooms and shared learning spaces clean and orderly by organizing materials, wiping tables and chairs, and supporting general tidiness.
• Provide learning support and guidance to students under the direction of teachers or school leadership.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Support school programs, campus events, staff meetings, and in-service trainings as needed.
• Follow school policies, procedures, and expectations for student supervision, safety, and conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support students, classrooms, and campus operations.

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Recent classroom, school, childcare, or student supervision experience preferred.
• Patient, flexible, positive, dependable, cooperative, and able to work well with students and staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with students, families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Maturity, stability, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in supporting students and the education field.
• Stamina to work positively with students for the length of the scheduled workday.
• Ability to take supervision, direction, and feedback constructively.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, respectful, and nurturing school environment.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Must be able to work in person at the school campus.
