The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Elementary (Kindergarten through 3rd grade) Assistant Coach to join our team. This part-time position requires about 5-6 hours per week, 32 hours in the Spring season. Hours would be 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm on practice days and 3 p.m. - 6 pm on game days. 8 practices and 4 games per season. There is potential for other seasonal coaching opportunities in the future including summer camps.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Coach as needed during practice and games.
• Commitment to the well-being of athletes
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support with the scheduling of practice and games.
• Manage equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree encouraged).
• Prior coaching experience required.
The Ideal Assistant Coach Will Be Able To:
• Coach athletes of different ages and skill levels.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude toward coaching young athletes
• Communicate effectively.
• Access and utilize technology.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, students, parents, and community members.
