Summary:
As an Assistant Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will help create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

Responsibilities:
• Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality meal programs. Ensures safe and efficient delivery of food to the children.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a clean kitchen, cooking, and prep area for meals to be served safely daily.
• Serve & Engage: Serve and engage our students, teaching them eating etiquette and proper food handling that will serve them for a lifetime!
• Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse educators and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and school community.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 1 year working with children
