About the Role
The Mandarin Substitute Teacher - Long Term Assignment has the fun opportunity to enjoy working with a wide variety of students and implementing an array of teaching methods and techniques. Your knowledge of Mandarin subject matter and executing lesson plans will help ensure the classroom runs smoothly on any day as necessary. The emphasis will be on vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This person must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to K-8 students.

• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Cover classroom duties as needed
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Two years of prior classroom experience in an K-8 setting
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
