Under the supervision of the Director, the Asst.Director serves as the educational leader of the school to which he/she is assigned. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis in education, early childhood, child development, including one year of teaching experience. ECE units/experience preferred.
The Vice Principal shall be certified and current in Pediatric First Aid/CPR. Professional work ethics to include: Supportive of the philosophy of Stratford School. Commitment to the idea of continued personal and professional growth as an educator. Commitment to the concept of “team spirit”, recognizing the school as one total group. Physical Requirements: Position requires a high level of energy with the ability to move from a sitting to standing position frequently. Must be able to bend, stoop, and perform extensive walking. Be able to move quickly from one place to another to ensure safety. Can lift up to 30 pounds and is able to work indoors and outdoors. Must be able to supervise students by sight and sound.
