Spring Education Group is looking for a dynamic Analyst that can keep pace with the growth of our organization. In this role, you will work across multiple lines of business and have exposure to a variety of business models across our network of schools. You will participate in evolving and refining the FP&A processes to better engage and depict the business from a financial perspective. Your expertise with data and modeling will enable you to make a clear impact on the Financial Planning & Analysis group to contribute in steering critical business decisions.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis group and is tasked with responsibilities to build budgets, monitor monthly results, forecast future performance, and support strategic initiatives.  This role requires strong analytical and judgement skills, an operational-driven mindset, and experience working with large, complex data sets.  A successful senior financial analyst will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company’s financial reporting and performance measurement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drives enterprise reporting, corporate analysis, and core FP&A processes
  • Supports senior leaders in expense management and analysis
  • Develops and supports financial performance reviews, variance analysis, and forecasts
  • Constructs and refines financial models for forecasting and business cases
  • Assists FP&A team with standard and ad-hoc reporting, management presentations and business initiatives
  • Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements.
  • Consolidates business unit performance and evaluates submissions from an enterprise perspective

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or business-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years financial planning and analysis or accounting experience.
  • Must be proficient in working with financial systems and software.
  • Must have experience working with a FP&A software platform, preferably Adaptive Planning.
  • Advanced financial modelling and excel skills, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Solid communications and interpersonal skills; comfortable and confident working with peers and senior leaders.
