Spring Education Group (SEG) is a private school network that supports its schools with strategic direction, education expertise, business office operations, and partnership opportunities. The Spring Education Montessori Training Director serves the organization by developing programs and practices to ensure successful completion and outstanding learning experiences of our Montessori Educators enrolled within the Montessori Teaching Institute.
The Montessori Training Director will be responsible for research and development and implementation of the Teaching Institute including accreditation of the program.

Key responsibilities:
  • Successful accreditation of Montessori Training Institute
  • Ongoing teacher education, growth, collaboration, and engagement.
  • Works closely with staff, school leaders, and subject-matter-experts cross-departmentally to support, develop, administer, and assist in training and developing our teachers.
  • Develops and executes program offerings under the guidance of the VP of School Operations.
  • Assists in developing a robust professional development resource library
  • Specific areas of focus:
  • Design, develop and create AMS Training programs for Montessori Teaching Institute
  • Manages, strategizes, and prioritizes AMS Training programs in the Montessori Teaching Institute
  • Build connections with Montessori community members including the teaching faculty
  • Ensure high-quality professional development
  • Assess the efficacy of professional development offerings
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Spring's Montessori Teaching Institute in collaboration with other departments and leaders
  • Continuously recognize and develop plans to address content gaps in Spring's AMS training program
The Montessori Training Director is a mission-driven, creative, and self-directed thinker and doer with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a Montessori classroom with a deep understanding of the Montessori method and its delivery to children.
  • AMS Certified
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Montessori credentialed (multi-credentialed a plus)
  • Experience developing innovative and creative Montessori training programs and presenting professional development workshops live and virtually
  • Significant experience managing complex projects
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented
  • Experience managing others while developing a strong sense of team
  • Proficiency with computer and web skills, including but not limited to G-Suite, MSWord / Excel / PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Desirable
  • Global perspective, stakeholder focus
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in instructional design and developing online or technology-enhanced coursework is a plus
