Laurel Springs School is seeking an intern to make a positive impact on our Partnerships and Business Development team. This position will be responsible for leading segment research, consolidating contact information on our customer relationship management tool, and supporting general/ad-hoc team needs.

This role will be either remote or based in our office in Campbell, CA. Additionally, this role includes direct access to uniquely experienced professional mentors. This of course includes the Sr. Director of Partnerships and Business Development/WISE San Francisco Bay Area President, Ariel Feigenbaum, in addition to other EdTech industry leaders

Your Mission:

The Partnerships intern will work independently as well as with other LSS staff and faculty members across the country. They will utilize resources to assist LSS’s short and long-term strategic growth initiatives. They will provide aid to our LSS Account Managers by completing a CRM data entry project while enthusiastically providing industry-leading service to LSS sports, entertainment, and education partners. Our ideal candidate wants to learn how to effectively contribute and collaborate with a dynamic group of innovative colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide insight and perspective to our Partnerships and Business Development team’s outreach strategy
  • Build call lists and support outbound communication activity reporting and tracking
  • Draft creative briefs for original, contemporary marketing collateral
  • Conduct prospective partner research by identifying and uncovering new opportunities
  • Review and edit marketing presentations to engage an audience of targeted, prospective partners
  • Occasionally shadow the Sr. Manager of Partnerships and Business Development in meetings
  • Utilize statistics and analytics to track student progress and partnership revenue trends
  • Help assess internal and/or target-market indicators to inform business decisions
  • Help evaluate and prioritize processes with an eye towards clarity, efficiency, scalability, and accuracy


Qualifications:

  • Possesses or is currently and actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree
  • Possess strong relationship management skills
  • Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) competencies
  • A high degree of comfort with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Mail, Slides, Drive, Chat, etc.)
  • Track record of delivering high-quality, on-time results on assigned projects and tasks
