With a focus on our Stratford Schools in CA, the Digital Learning Coach will model and coach teachers in the delivery of the curriculum using appropriate technology tools to effectively assess student learning, differentiate and personalize instruction, and provide rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for all students.
Conduct needs assessments and evaluates results of professional learning programs to determine effectiveness and action needed to further grow teacher knowledge and skills and/or increase student learning.
Identify technology integration competencies among instructional staff, in collaboration with school leaders, and deliver appropriate coaching, training, and resources to support the professional growth of individuals.
Coach teachers in and model the use of online and blended learning, digital content, and collaborative learning networks to support and expand opportunities for online professional development for teachers and leaders.
  • Model and promote digital citizenship by facilitating safe, healthy, legal, and ethical use of digital information and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship including professional learning and coaching for campus technology leads.
  • Engage in continual learning to deepen content and pedagogical knowledge in technology integration and current and emerging technologies.
  • Meet regularly and collaborate with all members of the Digital Learning Team.
  • Communicate effectively and consistently with leaders and teachers by contributing to Digital Learning bulletins and network groups.
  • Travel to campuses as needed for meetings, professional development, etc.
Specific Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the related academic field.
  • Experience with Powerschool, Schoology, or other similar technology.
  • A minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
  • Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and train adult learners.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of computer instructional applications and curriculum development.
  • Ability to work during the summer
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
