 A key member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role partners with the leadership team and hiring managers to ensure we’re hiring the best possible talent for Spring preschools. This means understanding our existing workforce, current hiring needs, trends, and Spring’s growth trajectory in order to develop and execute short and long-term hiring plans under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Passionate about the art and science of recruiting, successful candidates will build strong relationships and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.  With a commitment to continuous learning, this role will seek to streamline and improve processes, maximize existing tools and experiment with new ways of reaching candidates.

What you will do:

  • Partners with hiring managers to define hiring plans which include job postings and definitions, and sourcing strategies. Works with hiring managers to define current and future hiring needs, establish interview teams and align on skills and attributes for selection
  • Work closely with fellow recruiters to share knowledge, provide back-up, and partner in the support of our candidates, hiring managers, and leadership team
  • Operational Excellence: maximize existing tools and processes for timely and efficient hiring, informed hire decisions, and consistent scalability
  • Build strong sourcing channels which include online social networking, employee referrals, online and offline job postings, network/marketing at local schools and universities, alumni and other organizations, job fairs, placement agencies, and other sources
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking for a smooth collaboration with hiring managers, colleagues, and partners
  • Ensure excellence in our of employee referral, employee mobility, and offer process
  • Expertly convey our employment value proposition, culture, and benefits through compelling, timely, and accurate communication to candidates
  • Source great candidates, conducting prescreening and assessments/or interviews

Provide timely and empathetic responses to those we regret

  • Prepare and negotiate offers
  • Understand and adhere to preschool licensing requirements where required

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of full-service recruiter/recruiting experience - with a strong track record of success
  • Impeccable integrity and confidentiality
  • Google suite, applicant tracking (Jobvite a plus!), MS Office, and broad social media skills
  • Articulate communicator, skillful in handling difficult conversations with tact and maturity
  • Problem-solving/analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze and identify trends, opportunities
