The Manager of Camp and Ancillary programs supports the Vice President of Camp and Ancillary programs with all operational systems, procedures, projects, programs, and field relations related to non-academic programming for Spring Education Schools, preschool through grade 12. This position ensures high-performance levels of our programs and provides thorough, positive communication with vendors, departments, and schools with a caring and committed attitude.

Day-to-day:
  • Supervise infrastructures supporting field operations by ensuring compliance with all SEG policies, procedures, and quality assurance
  • Development of new camp and after-school programming and activities to meet community needs
  • Ensures each market operates within budget, effectively keeping expenses in line with revenue
  • Evaluate the success and failures of programs by obtaining and incorporating feedback
  • Manages P&L to achieve or exceed planned financial and enrollment targets
  • Prepares status reports regarding progress towards achievement of objectives
  • Implement training that promotes professional development of staff
  • Learn and understand community demographics to market continually and creatively
  • Review and implement recommendations from surveys and other data 
  • Supervise and evaluate safety protocols
Skills and Experience Needed:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree preferred in Business Management, Parks & Recreation, Sports Management, Director of Summer Camp or relevant field
  • Minimum of five years’ applicable industry experience 
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple sites, multiple systems, and projects
  • Knowledge of the principles of programming, current trends, and best practices
  • Result oriented, with high energy levels, and be a self-starter
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise documentation and procedures
