The principal objective of this position is to develop and manage projects and programs to drive leads, enrollments and retention for Laurel Springs School through timely and effective advertising and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will be strong both on the strategic level and on the tactical/execution level. This individual works with agency vendors and monitors spending and results for all initiatives. The Digital Marketing Manager must be adept at planning, research, implementation and analysis. He or she works closely with other departments throughout LSS, as well as agencies and vendors. Marketing efforts are aimed at both customer acquisition and retention.

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and track advertising, promotion and sales support programs to achieve goals for lead generation and enrollment
  • Plan and implement programs for customer retention
  • Ensure quality execution across a wide range of media:
    • Websites & Landing pages
    • Email Campaigns
    • Sales Collateral
    • Digital Advertising
    • Lead Nurture Programs
  • Revenue Performance Management
  • Manage projects to budget and timeline goals
  • Lead and supervise both exempt and non-exempt level staff ensuring performance expectations are met along with compliance of all LSS policies and procedures
  • Uphold brand standards and ensure consistent execution of these standards
  • Support internal branding and school-wide communications efforts, including special events
  • Work with the Admissions and Education departments to create marketing programs that are easy to execute and consistent with the school's education philosophy
  • Analyze and present metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Manage customer research projects for both marketing and strategic initiatives (parent satisfaction surveys, student exit surveys, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain multiple content management systems to drive consumer and vendor communications (marketing automation platform)
  • Seek out industry-specific best practices and determine how these can be implemented, if applicable, to meet LSS goals and objectives
  • 5+ years of successful digital marketing, preferably within a technology or e-commerce setting
  • Track record of building and managing programs that convert at all stages of the buyers’ journey within the enterprise encompassing inbound and outbound marketing
  • Expertise in B2C/B2B marketing funnel reporting, goal setting and reporting
  • Strong technical literacy, including marketing automation
  • Proven history of creating effective marketing programs
  • Demonstrated creative skills (e.g. written and/or design skills) to drive personalization and relevance
  • Tireless, motivated, confident, determined professional with great communication skills, integrity, and judgment
  • Proven experience working with marketing and sales functions to deliver superior results
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and influence skills
