About the Role

The Preschool Office Administrator position plays an important part in our school community. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the entire staff at our school to support front office needs, provide coverage at the preschool when needed, and develop meaningful relationships with students and families.

You will also...
  • Assist in daily office operations including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate student and staff records.
  • Handle tuition collection, budget tracking, and other financial documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and assisting parents and prospective families with inquiries.
  • Support the admissions process, guiding prospective parents through enrollment steps and answering related questions in partnership with the shared services enrollment team.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements by maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation, including safety protocols and regulatory paperwork.
  • Assist in preparing documents for state and federal reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage office supply inventory and order necessary materials to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with staff and vendors to schedule maintenance and other office-related services.

What We Are Looking For
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • At least one year of teaching experience is required, with experience in education administration or business administration preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict effectively and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of technology's role in education.
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles, goals, and techniques.
