About the Role:

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teachers at Brighton School work with a class of our youngest learners to implement our unique curriculum and inspire a lifelong love of learning in a joyful environment. Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics including the foundations of mathematical thinking, reading and language, creative expression, scientific exploration, and social-emotional learning. The early years of a child's education can set the stage for their entire educational career and this is your chance to make a positive impact in the lives of young students!

Responsibilities:
  • Implement curriculum and lessons
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress
  • Engage with children in educational and creative activities.
  • Implement effective behavior management techniques to foster a conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance the school community
  • Provide a warm, safe, and caring environment that is kept orderly, clean, and appealing.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience working in a preschool or prekindergarten classroom environment.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education practices and techniques.
  • Strong behavior management skills.
  • Love and passion for working with young children.
  • Availability to work from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
