About the RoleThis role brings the joy of music to our youngest learners in Transitional Kindergarten - 2nd grade. Not only will you instruct students directly in basic elements of music, but you will also have the opportunity to work with classroom teachers to integrate our curriculum within the music program and even assist them with using and learning rhythm instruments!
The music teacher will also cover topics related to music history such as great composers and the beginnings of music theory. Through your enthusiasm and knowledge, our students will become lifelong appreciators of music and build a foundation for future study.
What We Are Looking For- Bachelor's degree with a focus on music
- Fluent sight reading required
- Experience with and knowledge of piano and music instruction
