Spring Education Group is the largest operator of private schools in the United States. To support our school's continued growth, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our Talent Acquisition team. The right person for this role will take ownership of the recruiting functions for a portfolio of schools, helping create and drive recruiting strategies to attract and hire the best teaching and educational talent for each school as well as collaborating in recruiting activities for the broader Spring Education Group Talent Acquisition team.

This position will be responsible for recruiting and screening candidates in the following fields: teaching, school leadership, business operations, and other support positions. Talent Acquisition is also responsible for managing candidate experience and advising school leadership and the operations team on recruiting activity and progress.

We are seeking a recruiter that will help us continue to elevate the quality of teaching and the culture in our schools, by hiring bright and passionate teachers to make a difference in the lives of our students. A successful candidate for this role will work with a high sense of urgency to fill positions with quality educators while balancing a large volume of requisitions. This person will build the school brand and value proposition among education professionals in the designated markets.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Research, identify, and recruit candidates through innovative sourcing methods that include social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), networking, and attending professional events to actively engage with both passive and active job seekers directly.
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews and evaluate candidate skill level and organizational fit - vetting non-qualified candidates in the process.
  • Ensure recruiting practices and activities meet SEG standards and support schools' growth initiatives.
  • Develop, grow, and maintain professional relationships with Hiring Managers, Regional Directors, and shared services team members. Uphold the recruitment process with Hiring Managers through consultation on strategic and emerging recruitment trends.
  • Utilize and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) effectively to document activity and track candidate status in the application process.
  • Plan, develop, and execute internal and external hiring events for your designated markets.
  • Establish relationships with nationwide sources for education professionals including university outreach and education associations.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute recruiting plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience for all candidates by setting clear expectations and maintaining consistent communication with them throughout the process.
  • Build talent networks and pools by sourcing qualified passive candidates that can fill future talent needs.
  • Drive results in sourcing new candidates and filling positions with high-quality candidates that fit each school's culture and approach to education.
  • Occasional overnight travel up to 5-10%.
