About the Role

As a Summer Camp Counselor at Van Avery Prep, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to a stimulating and fun summer experience. You'll lead and participate in a diverse array of activities, from sports and games to creative arts while fostering a safe and positive environment for our campers.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading and supervising a group of children in various camp activities
  • Creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all campers
  • Planning and executing daily activities and events
  • Promoting teamwork and leadership skills among campers

What We Are Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Lifesaving preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
