Are you passionate about creating impactful learning experiences? Spring Education Group is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering effective learning programs to meet the educational objectives of our target audience. The instructional designer plays a crucial role in creating effective learning experiences, such as Spring Education's Leadership Academy, which contributes to the overall success and development of individuals within SEG and its network of schools.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning objectives, target audience characteristics, and performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand training requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive instructional strategies and curriculum plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and organize content in a logical and learner-centric manner.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, presentations, and job aids.
  • Write clear, concise, and effective instructional content.
  • Apply pedagogical principles and adult learning theories to design effective learning experiences.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods, media, and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Stay updated on e-learning tools and technologies to incorporate multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive content.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate instructional technologies based on project requirements.
  • Develop assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve instructional materials and delivery methods.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design.
  • Continuously enhance personal and professional skills through training and development opportunities.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and authoring tools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience within the educational field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
