About the RolePreschool teachers at The Rhoades School have the unique opportunity to work with gifted and intellectually curious students and implement new academic challenges and opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs and passions of gifted students. The preschool curriculum balances preparation for reading, writing, and math along with art, music, and important social skills and emphasis on character development.

What We Are Looking For- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong communicator with the ability to help students delve deep into subjects
- Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
- Prior to being hired, a teacher shall have twelve post-secondary semester units or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development completed, with passing grades (C or better), at an accredited or approved college or university, as well as, at least six months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
