After School Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Spanish Teacher to provide high-quality Spanish language instruction and enriching experiences for elementary and middle school students. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Spanish language and culture, as well as a desire to inspire and educate young learners.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish Language: Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Spanish language lessons to students, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Curriculum Development: Develop or adapt curriculum and lesson plans that align with the school's objectives and educational standards
• Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and active learning.
• Cultural Enrichment: Introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, and customs to broaden their cultural awareness.

Schedule:

• The job may require working after regular school hours, typically in the late afternoon or early evening, and possibly on weekends for special events or classes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (a teaching certificate is a plus).
• Proficiency in the Spanish language and a deep understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures.
• Prior experience teaching Spanish to students, particularly in an after-school or extracurricular setting.
