Part Time After Care Instructor

Merryhill Schools in San Jose is looking for a Part Time After Care Instructor to work in the afternoons!

A typical day

You are responsible for carrying out all the duties necessary for the day-to-day extended day operations. Supervise students in indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks. Also embedded in the time is an opportunity for our students to work on their homework under your guidance and supervision. Working in a highly energized setting while maintaining a safe and educational learning environment is a must. Hours are 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Being a strong communicator and having an abundance of patience
