Chesterbrook Academy, a private preschool part of the Spring Education Group family of schools, is seeking a passionate Preschool Principal (Center Director) who will lead by example, develop their team, grow their school, and deliver quality curriculum with unwavering integrity.
As a Preschool Principal, you will assist the Preschool Principal with the coordination of all school operations, including financial planning, community outreach, relationship-building, staffing, and teacher development.

What makes you different...- Must be 21+ years of age.
- 2+ years of previous experience in an administrative or supervisory role in a licensed childcare program (i.e., Assistant Center Director, Manager, Team Lead, etc.).
- 2+ years of previous experience teaching in a licensed childcare program.
- Knowledge of state education and licensing standards.
- Maintains validation of credentials for the position (i.e., professional development).
- Must be able to pass a background check without exemptions.
- Must be able to bend and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Educational requirements...- Completion of an Associate Degree (or at least 64 college credit hours).
- A minimum of 21 completed semester hours of college credit in child development, early childhood education or early childhood special education, and.
- Either a Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential or,
- 3 semester hours of college credit or 3 points of credential approved training in administration, leadership, or management.
