Minimum Skills & Responsibilities

  • BA or BS Degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Lead and expand an engaging Innovation Lab curriculum for students in grades PS-5th that includes: building, design thinking, robotics, and programming. 

  • Experience using an iPad in a school setting. 

  • Differentiate instruction for a range of abilities and interest levels in order to provide a student-centered, hands-on approach to learning

  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.

  • Research and seek professional development around current best practices in Computer Science education

  • Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees if needed.

  • Assess and document the accomplishments of students on a regular basis through a Gradebook.

  • Demonstrate professional behavior, including discretion, good judgment, and integrity are essential.

  • Model excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Employment Status: Full-Time

Duration: School Year (10 months), Monday - Friday

Teachers who are inspired in their approach and who stretch the boundaries of learning are typically the most successful. We encourage enthusiasm and support our instructors to demonstrate their thirst for knowledge to our students.

We are looking for teachers that stretch beyond textbook teaching and bring together instruction methods that will ultimately help a student delve deeper into a subject.

$1,500 sign on bonus is eligible for the new hire for our Elementary Robotics/Coding Teacher position.
Bonus will be paid out once the new hires completes 90 days of employment.
